1. Introduction to Silicone Rubber

Silicone rubber is the largest category of organic silicon products. It is an elemental organic elastomer obtained by hydrolysis and polycondensation of various dichlorosilanes. 3. The production process of silicone rubber

The molding of the rubber compound needs to apply a certain temperature and pressure under the action of the vulcanizing agent (only required for the solid state, the purpose is to prevent the generation of bubbles), and the product is made through the molding or extrusion process. For example, HTV needs to be around 165°C, and LSR (liquid silicone rubber) needs to be around 140°C.
